1)  Q What is School Center?
A
SchoolCenter is an online web authoring environment. It provides tools for teachers/managers to easily create and maintain classroom/department web sites. These tools can be accessed wherever an internet connection exists, including one's home.
2)  Q How do I access my pages?
A
To view pages or direct visitors to your site, the standard web address is:

wallkill.ny.schoolwebpages.com/firstinitialastname

To edit your pages go to:

wallkill.ny.schoolwebpages.com/admin

User name: firstinitialastname

Password: First use - default provided by tech support. You may subsequently change your password by clicking the edit pencil next to your user name.

At the initial login page (My Desktop), click on the site names to which you have access under the My Sites section.
3)  Q What are some basic School Center functions?
A
1. To change pages, click on the Edit Page button.

2. To view your changes, click on the View Page button.

3. To edit text, click on the pencil icon.

4. To insert or delete images, click the Add, Repl, or Del buttons.

5. To position images, click the position icon (labeled On Top, Middle Right, On Bottom, etc.)
4)  Q How do I rename pages?
A
The Page Settings button allows one to edit page titles.
5)  Q Where can I get more help?
A
1. While in edit mode, click the small i in the blue circle for context sensitive information and help.

2. Also while in edit mode, the Support button along the top of the page will open SchoolCenter Corporate Support in a new window.
